HomeAid Colorado Youth Projects

HomeAid Colorado is the connector between construction-industry professionals and affiliates to complete construction projects and provide critical resources to non-profit care providers who assist those in our community at a high risk of homelessness. By maximizing HomeAid’s relationships within the building industry, new construction and renovations are completed as affordable as possible.

HomeAid Colorado has had the privilege of working with several non-profit agencies the past few years that focus on children and adolescents. In a world where challenges facing children and adolescents are increasingly complex, the role of non-profits is crucial in ensuring that young people receive the support they need to thrive. By addressing the root causes of homelessness and providing essential resources these organizations are working tirelessly to build a brighter future for the next generation. Preventing homelessness among children and adolescents requires a multi-faceted approach, and non-profit organizations play a pivotal role in this endeavor. Together we can ensure that no child or adolescent is left without a home.

HomeAid Colorado is proud to have built 2 homes for Denver Children’s Home, a home for Mountain States Children’s Home and built and renovated 4 homes for Third Way Center.  We are thrilled to have a renovation project in development for Tennyson Center and another home for Third Way Center.  Also, in development is a large new construction project for Tall Tales Ranch which will include a Community building featuring a coffee shop, an Event building and paired cottages that will be home to 32 residents. These facilities offer comprehensive mental health services, including therapy and counseling, designed to address the emotional and psychological needs of children. The services help young people develop coping strategies and build resiliency. HomeAid Colorado helps these organizations provide a safe and structured environment where children can receive care and support from trained professionals.

These partner organizations are a cornerstone of support for children and adolescents dealing with emotional and behavioral challenges. They prepare children for successful futures, focusing on life skills development – problem solving, decision making and interpersonal communication. These skills empower young people to navigate life’s challenges and foster independence as they transition into adulthood. Older adolescents receive classes on essential life skills, such as budgeting, cooking and job readiness to help young people successfully transition to adulthood and independent living.

HomeAid Colorado’s partnership with these incredible non-profit organizations help ensure long term success in shaping brighter futures for our children and prevents homelessness in our next generations.

HomeAid Colorado is also extremely proud of our Builders for Babies outreach effort. Families across the country are challenged to provide a basic essential such as clean diapers to their babies. In 2024, HomeAid Colorado provided over 3.9M diapers and wipes to 53 service providers across the state of Colorado, enabling families to keep their babies clean, dry, healthy and happy. We truly believe that families and children require a focus like never before in the challenges that lie ahead. HomeAid Colorado is proud to be part of a remarkable team that provides positive and thriving futures.
